Rob is totally revelling in being a cripple. I grabbed on of his sticks just now and he said "That's like downloading a virus onto Steven Hawkins' voice computer." He finally has a reason to be discriminated against and he's loving it.


I've been talking to an American woman on MSN quite a lot recently. We're fanfiction-writing partners in crime. She writes a bit, I write a bit, we discuss it a lot in between writing and when the chapter's finished, we edit it a couple of times each and it's surprisingly smooth. But we also talk about random (mostly fandom-related) stuff until the wee hours of the morning. Here's one of our conversations:

Someone started a "kissing in the rain" fanfic challenge, and I wrote this:

Bob and Dekaff have corrupted me. They kept insisting that Spock loves kittens, so I drew Spock cuddling a kitten on the first page of the sketchpad that Dekaff bought me. Then I decided the kitten must be Uhura. So this is the picture, and if you click on it you can read the accompanying fanfiction.

It's so cute. How could I not have realised before that Spock loves kittens? It's just so obvious.

I've been very productive today. First I drew This Kingdom Hearts II fanart which shows my Nobody (Taenixla) back to back and holding hands with her Other (which is me, obviously.)
My weapon is a pencil. Because I'm cool.

And the other thing I've done today is write Stargate Atlantis fanfiction. The prompt was "Drunk/Alcohol" and so I drew on my experience of drinking games and what usually happens.

Since I wrote that Doctor Who fanfiction for one of the Writers Block thingies, I thought I could post non-pornographic fanfiction in this journal as well as my other one. I won't make a tag for it, but I'll archive it in my Memories (which I think I changed to Shinies when I fucked with the journal design.)

The fandom: Firefly. I haven't written proper Firefly fanfiction before and this is a good way to get into the swing of things.

I saw this Writer's Block and jumped at the chance to write myself into some fanfiction. It's not something I'd usually do because when people use themselves as a character they end up being wonderful and popular and perfect in every way. That's what is known as a Mary Sue.
So for the record, I would totally end up dead after two or three adventures. Consider me eaten by a Bugblatter beast of Traal.

Also, Livejournal is being a dumbass. If I try to do this with the Writer's Block template, it keeps deleting the rest of my post (which is why there are at least 2 deleted versions of this entry, because it also fucks with the post if you try to edit it.)

Note: This is the 5th Doctor, played by Peter Davidson. He's very fluffy and likes cricket. I chose to find him when he was travelling with Tegan and Turlough because Adric's a whiny loser, I can't see Nyssa (or Kamelion) playing cricket and I don't really like Peri.
